The Ensemble
Founded in 2012, Berlin Concert Brass is a vibrant fusion of international talent and British brass tradition. Representing the Music School Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg since 2024, our ensemble brings together musicians from over eight nations.
From the prestigious Whit Friday March Contest in England to tours across Switzerland and the Allgäu, we have spent the last decade bringing the power of brass to Berlin’s most iconic churches and concert halls.
Artistic Direction:
David Rodeschini
Born in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, David Rodeschini is the driving force behind the sound of Berlin Concert Brass. A graduate with highest honors from the conservatories of Lausanne and Geneva, the award-winning trumpeter and conductor brings a wealth of international experience to the podium.
Whether as a soloist in Baroque ensembles like “Gli Angeli” or leading large-scale symphonic wind orchestras, David’s artistic precision and passion for brass music shape every performance.

We follow the unique British Brass Band Tradition: a specific lineup of nearly 30 brass players and percussionists, creating a sound that is as warm as an organ and as powerful as a symphony orchestra.
From the historic coal mines of England to the modern stages of Berlin, we bring this legendary “Wall of Sound” to life. Pure, authentic, and always with a modern twist.
