Berlin Concert Brass is now ten years old!!
On 10.08.12 Berlin Concert Brass merged with BerlinBrassBand. Their experienced conductor, David Rodeschini, was as enthusiastic about Brass Bands as we are. At our first rehearsal on 13.09.2012, international players from over 8 nations joined together. Since then, we enjoy meeting weekly for rehearsals. As of September 2014, it is a special joy to be able to represent the music school Paul Hindemith in Neukölln.
Berlin Concert Brass has performed at many venues throughout Berlin including, Passionskirche, festen Scheune in Berlin-Buch, Emmauskirche. We have taken part in competitions in Chemnitz and Bad Kissingen.
Berlin Concert Brass has also had the opportunity to tour on several occasions. In 2014 the band performed at the Whit Friday march contest in England. Autumn of 2015 was a highlight touring through Switzerland and performing with the Rosalp Brass Band and in the Allgäu with the Bezirksjugendorchester Kaufbeuren. We also regularly travel to Wismar and perform in the surrounding region.
